Iconic textile designer and ‘architect of floors’, Marion Dorn’s expertise in pattern visualisation and striking graphics landed her the title as ‘one of the most prominent and successful designers of her time’ during the early 20th century.
Exquisite examples of Dorn’s craft have become synonymous with the iconic Claridge’s foyer, and therefore lead the inspiration behind these striking bone china patterns. Richard Brendon and Claridge’s took these designs as inspiration for the evocative collection of mugs.
Every piece of bone china is made to the absolute highest quality by master craftspeople in Stoke-on-Trent.

Care Instructions
To keep your mugs looking at their best we recommend hand washing. Due to the delicate nature of Gold detailing, with regular use handwashing is best. Abrasive materials should be avoided when cleaning as they can damage the glaze and decoration. Due to the precious metal trim, these pieces should not be used in a microwave. When stacking pieces, try not to slide them over one another as this may cause tiny scratches in the glaze.
