We will not be dispatching any orders placed on the following dates. Any orders placed on one of these dates will be dispatched the next working day.

    We’re delighted to deliver to all of the UK mainland and you can choose between a variety of options – from next day delivery to a 2-day service.

    We also deliver to the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly and the Scottish Highlands and Islands. However, please bear in mind that there are extra charges for deliveries to these areas, and they will take an additional three to five days to arrive.

    We’re also delighted to be able to deliver our products to many countries and regions around the word, with an extra charge to pay depending on the weight of your delivery and location.

    To see if your product is eligible, simply look out for the International Delivery icon on the product page. Rest assured, we always calculate your fully delivered price during the checkout process – so you will never have to pay any additional delivery charges when your order arrives.

    Unfortunately, due to legal restrictions, there are some products that we’re not able to send internationally. For example, some countries or regions – such as the Middle East, Turkey and America – restrict the import of alcohol. If this is the case, we will always tell you before we take any payment.

    For some destinations, there may be additional customs duties to pay. Unfortunately, we can’t confirm how much these will be and your recipient will be responsible for any payment. Please bear in mind that this may also cause delivery delays.

    Unfortunately, we’re not able to deliver our products to BFPO addresses because we can’t track or obtain a signature for this service – this means we are not able to guarantee safe delivery.

    We’re sorry, but we can’t deliver our products to PO boxes.

    We are very happy to offer both Saturday and Sunday delivery options across the UK, subject to an extra charge. Please see UK delivery options and charges for more details. Sadly, we’re not able to offer deliveries on bank holidays.

    Once your order has been shipped, you will receive confirmation of your tracking number from our carrier DPD or DHL. Simply follow the link to track the progress of your delivery.

    Alternatively, if you have an account with us, you can also login and select ‘track your order’ in the ‘my order history’ section.

    On the day of your delivery, DPD or DHL will be in touch with an estimated delivery time. If you won’t be in, you’ll have the option to rearrange your delivery, or you can ask them to leave your parcel with a neighbour.

    Please note that both DPD and DHL require a signature upon receipt, and orders containing alcohol may also require ID as proof of age.

    We always aim to deliver a prompt, reliable service. However, there are some circumstances beyond our control which can cause delays, including: 

    • Adverse weather conditions
    • Incomplete or incorrect delivery addresses

    Unfortunately, in the unlikely event of these issues, we are unable to accept responsibility for any delays.

    Both our team and our delivery carriers work hard to make sure your products arrive with you fully present and correct, and in perfect condition. In the rare event that parts of your order are missing or damaged, please let us know within 14 days of your expected delivery date.

    Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that claims made after this time will be refunded or replaced.

    We’re very happy to send items from the same order to more than one UK address, should you wish. However, please note a delivery charge will be applied to each address you select.

    UK returns

    If you would like to cancel your order, you can do this up to 14 days after it has arrived.

    Order cancellations

    Please note that we’re not able to provide refunds for any food, alcohol or beverage items.

    We operate a 'No Quibble' policy for order cancellation. You are allowed a 14-day cooling off period from the date of delivery.

    If you would like to cancel and return your order to us, we will refund the total cost of your order and the delivery charges, including any out of area, named day or Saturday/Sunday surcharges.

    You simply need to follow the steps below: 

    • Please let us know you’d like to cancel your order, and the reason why, in writing by emailing giftshop@claridges.co.uk or by post to the following address within 14 days of delivery:

    • Please apply the enclosed DPD return label and find a convenient drop-off point near you.
    • Your product(s) must be returned in full condition in the original packing, undamaged, with label(s) still attached, not worn, accompanied by all of its accessories, and a copy of the original delivery note.
    • Please return your product(s) to the address below within 28 days of receiving your original order, making sure you fill out the return form at the bottom of your original delivery note.

      Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for parcels that don’t reach us – so please make sure you obtain a certificate of posting as proof of purchase and a tracking number.

      Just to note, in the unlikely event something does happen to your order on its way to us, please get in touch with our team – not DPD.

      Once your return arrives, we’ll check it over then email you to confirm your refund amount. Please then allow 14 working days for the refund to reach you. We’ll pay refunds into the bank account linked to the credit card used to place the order.

    We’re very sorry if you or your recipient has received a damaged or defective product, or if we have made a mistake with your order. Rest assured, we’ll do all we can to put it right.

    You’ll simply need to:

    • Let us know within 48 hours of receipt by calling +44 (0) 207 107 8856 or emailing giftshop@claridges.co.uk. Whenever possible, please include a photo or video to show us the problem.
    • Please then apply the enclosed DPD return label and find a convenient drop-off point local to you. Please make sure you fill out the return form at the bottom of your original delivery note, and return your item within 28 days to:

      Please make sure you get proof of postage and a tracking number for your return as, unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for parcels that fail to reach us.
    • Once your parcel arrives with us, we will refund the cost of the product in full or we will replace the product. If the same product is not available, we will replace it with a product of equal or higher value.

    If you haven’t received your refund, please contact your credit card company or bank – it can take a little while to process your refund.
