The most famous Pouilly Fume vineyards have been in the hands of the Comte Lafond and Ladoucette families since 1787 and this is the icon wine of the estate. This Grande Cuvee is only produced in the best years and the result is consistently one of the world's great Sauvignon Blancs, with a great aging potential.
Aromas of orange peel, grapefruit, beeswax and floral hints. Herbaceous notes integrate with crushed stones. Nicely textured due to 6 months ageing on lees, long evolving finish.
